TO SURRENDER TO A ROGUE
An expert in ancient antiquities, Lady Alessandra della Giamatti has come to London in order to live a life of quiet scholarly study. But when she accepts an invitation to oversee the excavation of newly discovered Roman ruins near the city of Bath, she soon discovers that a fellow member of the expedition is threatening to dig up the dark secret from her scandalous past.
Alone and vulnerable, she dares not confide in anyone—especially Lord James Jacquehart Pierson, a sinfully handsome rogue whose presence at the excavation ignites a different danger. She had clashed with him in the past, so there is no way she can now appeal to his sense of honor. Or is there? As the sparks between them turning hotter, she yields to temptation . . .
Black Jack Pierson knows Alessandra doesn’t like him, yet the physical attraction between them is explosive. A talented painter of classical architecture, Jack is also skilled in the art of seduction. But Alessandra’s sudden surrender of her body stirs his suspicions. Is she a scheming temptress? Or is she a lady in trouble?
Passion. Intrigue. Secrets. Lies. As desire and deceptions swirl around them, Alessandra and Jack must overcome their misgivings and trust each other. For if they don’t act to uncover a shocking truth, their adversary—and their own growing fire—may destroy all they hold dear.
