Dear Readers,

I’m so excited to visit Books on the House this week and share a few updates on my Sons of the Zodiac series.  The series launched this past March with the first book – WARRIOR ASCENDED – featuring my Leo hero, Brody Talbot.

When I put the series together, it was important for me that my warriors were part of a band of brothers, but also wholly defined by their own identity and individual role as part of a greater whole.  Brody’s an archaeologist and he travels the world disarming ancient artifacts of their supernatural power.

Although he’s done a pretty good job through the years, it turns out he’s missed one of these “supernatural landmines” right under his nose – the Summoning Stones of Egypt, discovered twenty-five years ago by the famed archaeologist, Russell Harrison.  Harrison’s daughter, Ava, is curating an exhibit at the Museum of Natural History in New York, where the stones are to be featured, and the sparks fly from there.

I’m having a blast writing this series and am so excited that Kane, my Scorpio warrior, will be on shelves on September 7.  His story – WARRIOR AVENGED – picks up six months after WARRIOR ASCENDED ends.  You’ll meet Kane and his mystery woman in WARRIOR ASCENDED and I don’t think it will come as any surprise that Kane’s not all that happy with how things ended between them….
